JenniisdisturbedbothbyMickey'sbeliefthatMarion'sghostwanderstheestateandbyMarion'sself-portraitinsidethehouse,whichJennibelievesresembleshermother.Whenshebeginstohearunexplainedscreamingnoisesandseeskullsaroundherhouse,shebelievesthatMarionishauntingher.ThoughEricspeculatestoJennithatMickey,whowasachildhoodfriendofMarionandthusdislikesJenni,maybebehindthetrickery,Jenniworriesthatsheisgoinginsane.EricthensuggeststoremoveMarion'sself-portraitfromthehome.EricandJennitakethepaintingoutsideandburnit.Whiletheycleanuptheremainsofthepainting,askullemergesfromtheashes.WhileJennipanicsatthesightoftheskull,Ericdeniesthattheskullisthere.JennifaintsandEricwithdrawstheskullandhidesit,revealingthathewasresponsibleforthetrickeryallalonginanefforttogetholdofherwealth.
